Djarragun Enterprises operates as a ‘social enterprise’. The indigenous crew members who work in these enterprises all earn award wages with profits reinvested to both help grow the business and provide support for future skilled workers.
We operate 2 ventures: Construction and Landscaping & Yard Maintenance.
Our construction crews, under the supervision of licensed builders, construct affordable and sustainable housing in Northern Australia. This work is carried out in alliance with Remote Housing Australia. Smaller scale construction and renovations are also included as an important area of the crew members’ professional experiences and development.
Landscaping and residential yard maintenance is provided to commercial and domestic customers in the Cairns region.
